Questions we get asked
Frequently asked questions
Does my business have to comply with POPIA?
Yes, if you collect, store or use personal information about clients, staff or suppliers, which almost every business does. The Act has been enforceable since 1 July 2021.
What does a POPIA IT audit include?
We review where personal information is stored, who can access it, how it is secured and backed up, and how breaches would be detected. You receive a report with prioritised fixes, and our attorney partners cover the legal documents.
